First, the business, which we discussed over lunch.
- We've had a letter from the Concord Hospital Palliative Care unit enclosing a pretty card and a lovely letter from 2 recipients of our quilts thanking us profusely. Very special to receive those.
- The Senior Citizens club Christmas lunch will be on the 30th and they have asked us if we could donate a quilt or two for their raffle.
- St Mary's Villa Nursing home require 6 more lap quilts
- Concord Club would like a quilt to raffle in aid of the Concord Palliative Care Unit.
And now on to the Show & Tell.
First up is a pretty quilt Ann made, quilted by Evelyn.
Cheryl made the next three
She also quilted this one, which was a donation.
And this one made by Dasha.
Helen's contribution this week were three flannel baby wraps
A couple of scarves, some mittens and a whole swag of beanies.
The next 3 were made by Jill
Made by Dasha
This was a bunch of donated blocks put together into a top and quilted by Dasha.
Evelyn made a couple of cute cot quilts
And this cheerful daisy quilt
Love the little cornerstones...
And this stunning shadow quilt
The next two were Bev's. Just gorgeous!
Just about any quilter would relate to the block in the bottom right corner, LOL.
The last four quilts weren't claimed by anyone, but I am pretty sure they were quilted by Robin.
Jill spent the afternoon sorting out the remaining quilts in the cupboard. We wanted to clear them all out so that there won't be anything much in there over the summer break. Here they are stacked up and ready to be donated. This lot are for St Mary's Villa.
And these are for the Domestic Violence unit in Burwood.
And the cupboard is bare.... Til the next time we meet!
